VB Game Reviews

Here is a little information about the games, both American and Japanese. There are 14 U.S. games plus a demo version of Red Alarm and I think a demo of VB Wario Land (Wario Cruise). All/most of the games in America were first Japanese, so there are Jap. games that are the same games, but in Japanese and may have different names, Panic Bomber, for instance, is Jump Panibomer as a Japanese game. There are many games in Japanese that were never released in America, and are hard to find and expensive if you can find them. I have seen Virtual Fishing sell for around $100! Here are some of the known games and a small description and features of the game. There are still many more games from Japan, and I will try to add them as I get enough info on them.

Mario's Tennis

Like the name, Mario's Tennis is a tennis game with Mario characters. Characters include: Mario, Luigi, Princess, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong Jr., and Koopa Troopa. This is the best tennis game you will ever find for any system and is loads of fun.

Mario Clash

Mario is walking around one day and finds a huge tower! It seems like Koopa, or someone, has flooded the tower with enemies for Mario to defeat. This game is kind of like the original Mario Bros. May have infinite levels, I only got to 84, so there are at least 100.

Galactic Pinball

Pinball game with a space theme. Has 4 exciting tables and is easy to play. It even saves your high scores. Probably the best pinball game for Nintendo. Even includes a small Metroid game in it.

VB Wario Land

If you have ever played Super Mario Land 3 on Gameboy, then this game is kind of like it. Wario is on the lookout for treasures and his goal is to find them all and beat the boss every 3 or 4 levels. He can turn into fire, bull, eagle, and dragon Wario. Lots of good features and great graphics on the VB.

Red Alarm

Red Alarm is a wireframe version of a space shooter. You have to fly through a base or something and defeat the boss at the end. If you look closely you can see small VB's in the 1rst base. Pretty hard game. I'm stuck on level 5 boss.

Nester's Funky Bowling

A bowling game that includes Nester and his sister Hester. Very fun and adictive game from what I hear, even for non-bowlers.

Water World

A game based on the movie. Didn't go over as big though. You have to save the people in the water from what I hear.

Jack Bros.

Probably the best game you can get for the VB. You have to find stuff and get through the level to beat bosses such as Jack O'Lantern and so on. Along with Water World it is one of the hardest American games to find.

3D Tetris

What do you think? It's Tetris in virtual reality!

Panic Bomber

Panic Bomber is a puzzle game with the Bomberman cast. Pretty adictive, like Nester's Bowling.

Vertical Force

Another space shooter that you can't tell the foreground from the background, otherwise a decent game. Will know more about it when I get it.

Teleroboxer

Ever play Punch-Out or Super Punch-Out? This game is like it with partial wireframe graphics and robots fighting.

Virtual Professional League Baseball '95

A VR baseball game. I think it uses an overhead view most of the time except when hitting the ball.

T&E Virtual golf (Golf U.S.)

A cool golf game for golfers and non-golfers. From T&E Soft, the same makers of Red Alarm.

Insmouse House (In Mouse's House)

A Japanese game that is like a RPG? Hard to find.

Virtual Fishing

A fishing game in Japanese. You see the man in the boat until a fish hits and then it goes to a cool underwater view. Kind of rare game. It used to go for around $80.00.

V-Tetris

Another Tetris game, but cooler. You can change the views. From JPN.

Space Squash

No information for this game yet. From JPN.

Zero Racers (G-Zero)

A game like F-Zero that was never made. It's a shame because that may have saved the VB. It was supposed to be a wireframe like Red Alarm.
